Standard vacation pet sitting service includes:

• Fresh food and water
• Potty time outside for dogs
• Daily litter change for cats
• Medications if needed (no extra charge for most medication needs.  Exception may apply if extra time is needed to tend to a pet's health needs)
• Playtime, petting time, brushing time, etc. 
• Dog walk (if requested) for leash-trained dogs    

     We strive to cater our service to your pets' unique needs, including special needs for the senior pet or post-surgery or illness care.  We water indoor plants if asked, bring in mail and newspapers/solicitation materials, and rotate your lights to give your home a lived-in appearance.  Other requests from you are welcome, and can usually be accommodated, as long as they do not take much time and attention away from your pets.  

     Please note that we do not share jobs with anyone.  For the safety of the pet sitter and the security of your pets and home, we can not provide service when others will also be accessing your home. 

Workweek/Daily Visits and Walks:

     We also provide pet sitting services for the professional who must be gone from their pets for longer than they wish.  Now you can arrive home from work and just relax!

All Visits start at $18 for up to 3 pets.

Key Pickup and Dropoff Policy:

     New clients need to provide us with 2 copies of your key.  Most of our clients have us keep their keys, which makes it very convenient to call and schedule service at any time.  Occasionally people prefer to have their keys returned between trips.  Due to fuel charges and the time involved, there will be a $12 charge for each trip to drop off or pick up keys. 

     No keys can be left under mats or outside a home for a sitter, with the exception of a locked, coded box.  Keys left outside the home are a danger to your belongings, your pets and the pet sitter.  Thank you for understanding! 

Holidays:

     A 50% or $50 (whichever is greater) nonrefundable deposit is required to hold a spot for the following holidays:

• Thanksgiving
• Christmas
• Katy ISD Spring Break
• July 4th

     I notify clients in advance of the actual dates that will be included in the holiday booking requirements, as actual dates of holidays and school closures change every year.  The weeks surrounding major holidays may be included in the holiday deposit requirements.

Payment: At this time, cash and checks are accepted.

New clients will need to pay in full at the initial free consultation.

Cancellations:

     Any change to a scheduled service, including departures, arrivals, illnesses etc. must be made before the sitter begins driving to your home, at the least.  A 24 hour notice is strongly preferred as we plan our routes in advance.  Our sitters also need to plan personal schedules between visits to your home. 

     Cancelled visits can not be credited if we have not spoken to you directly before the sitter begins driving to your home.
