      I have used Marcie at a Pet’s Domain for our cats since February 2008. To all of those cat owners who think that it is okay to leave a cat alone for a few days, please keep reading. My husband and I went out of town for a long weekend – maybe 4 days. We called Marcie (short notice) and she happily agreed to take care of our cats while we were gone. The second day of our vacation, we get a call from Marcie. This is HIGHLY unusual and we knew that there must be an emergency. Well, our young kitten, Boots, had found his favorite toy – a kitty fishing pole with feathers on the end – and wrapped the string completely around his belly and a metal piece of the toy was cutting into his leg. Marcie found him and the string was so tangled that she literally had to cut it off of his tiny body. He easily could have panicked and strangled himself or caused permanent damage if Marcie hadn’t shown up when she did. She called us immediately to let us know what happened. I can’t think what would have happened if we had decided to not hire her that weekend. What would we have come home to? Her modest fee buys us peace of mind and keeps our “family with four legs” happy and healthy. I have recommended her to everyone who asks. She is completely trustworthy and is simply the ‘salt of the earth’ kind of gal.

       We have been using Marcie’s service since we moved to Katy area in late 2007, and we are very happy to know that our beloved JRT Tucker and Tootie are well taken care of whenever we have to be away. Marcie and Paula are both very loving and attentive to the needs of our pets. They always leave us very detailed notes so we know what went on during their visits with the dogs. In fact, reading the notes left by Marcie and Paula is becoming something that we’re looking forward to when we get home after a long day. Rather than feeling like we’re just hiring a pet sitter, it feels like we are leaving our dogs with a dear friend that truly loves and cares about them.

        If you are in need of a pet sitter, I can’t say enough good things about A Pet’s Domain! Marcie, the owner, has thought of everything (and then some) that you could possibly want or need when having someone else care for your pet. I felt like I was leaving my “babies” with a trusted friend.

       Marcie has been a lifesaver!  With all of the last-minute trips we have decided to go on, it is nice to know that I can just pick up the phone and have Marcie care for the one family member that is left behind, our ten year old chocolate lab.  It gives me such peace of mind knowing Marcie is there to care for her and not having to worry about packing her stuff up as well as all of ours.  Marcie is completely trustworthy and has gone above and beyond her duties.  She really does take time to play and care for our dog and even our house.  She noticed Abita had shed a good amount one time and took it upon herself to vacuum our floor so we wouldn't have the excess mess when we got home since we do have an infant.  I would recommend Marcie to everyone, in fact I DO!           Staci

     Marcie takes care of our dog "Dag" when we are out of town.  He is a very active dog ( he jumps over fences), and he loves when she comes to play.  She runs with him in the yard and gets him the exercise he needs.  We trust her completely.      Jacob
